San Rafeal River Trip
July- Our river trip on the San Rafael Swell. Brian, Jason and I did an over night trip down the Class 1 river on kayaks. It was tons of fun and very exciting since it was my first river. The canyons were beautiful and the rapids got my heart going. We saw a ton of musk rats diving and swimming in the water. Brian and Jason both had a few flips in the kayaks which were pretty funny!

Big Horns Trip October 31, 2008
We decided last minute to head up to the Big Horns for Halloween weekend. The Bear Lodge was hosting a Halloween party and it was one of the only spots with snow for some pre-season snowkiting! So we piled the dogs and family into the van and hit the road for 10 hours of driving. We stayed in Jackson Hole with Greg, then went through Yellowstone were I saw my first Grizzly Bear. The hit the Biggies for an afternoon of snowkiting with Andrew McGarry. Noah showed up later and we all had a ton of fun kiting and hanging out at the lodge for evenings. They sure know how to through a Halloween party, and Noah had his own bar too.

Snowkiting early season at Skyline
So the season as started at Skyline, we have been kiting for a couple of weeks now and enjoying every second of it! Today was decent with gusty winds and crusty snow but still fun, even though the wind did crazy things with my kite. The coolest thing is there is a new Forest Service sign with snowkiting on it, and even a pick of me!
